My name is Jonathan O'Dea, I have over 20 years' experience working in the construction industry. I established Home Renovation Consultancy because I found that most builders and contractors do not give advice and guidance to their clients when quoting for work. This leaves the homeowner with very little information about what options are available to them to get the most out of their home renovation projects, based on their requirements, and more importantly their budget.  

I provide personal independent guidance and information to clients; to empower the homeowner with all the important information that is required when undertaking a home renovation project.  This information provides the homeowner with the confidence to undertake their renovation project, and understand how to engage with the different contractors, at different stages of the project.

With over 20 years' of practical experience working in construction I have developed in-depth knowledge of project and budget management, which is a requirement to carrying out any home renovation project successfully. Through this experience I have gained valuable understanding how to engage different contractors to ensure that clients projects are carried out to a high and professional standard. With on-site experience from working in people's homes I have developed building skills that can inform the best approaches to take when advising clients on their renovation projects.
